Our History
1985
In 1985, Faymesa was established as a manufacturer of gearboxes for elevators. Over the following years, the company achieved solid growth, gaining the trust of the domestic market while simultaneously beginning to export its products, primarily to Europe and the Middle East.
2000
In 2000, Alberto Sassi became the majority shareholder of Faymesa. From that point on, Alberto Sassi designed the gearboxes that the company would sell under the Alberto Sassi licence.
2010
In 2010, Faymesa was rebranded as Alberto Sassi Spain — a change driven by the full adoption of Alberto Sassi’s rigorous manufacturing processes and quality control standards. Alberto Sassi Spain now offers its markets advanced gearboxes units, fully customised solutions, and a level of customer service tailored to each client’s specific requirements — all core values of the Alberto Sassi brand.
